Did some good P.R. Today, busted a nice sounder that had tore up a neighbors yard saturday night. Had my Johnson bulldog catch his first pig, my little Tracker, my jagd female, did outstanding. Bayed a BIG SOunder solo, and kept after it til they got a nice sow here's Bo and Tracker with the sow.

Way to go Mike,.....this ought to make the folks around there happy. Was it the same lady that had them in her yard when I was down there?

Thanks Justin, neal, it was that lady, i also met her cross the street neighbor and a lil gal next to him. So i have more folks to call me when hogs go wild! Man! It was a BIG rally,, i got just the noise from the rally on video and a couple boars sneaking off, but cant get it to post off photobucket. But my lil jagd bayed her tail off and my bulldog caught his first hog, so i was tickled as can be. The bay was on the creek just down from the house, neal. Game camera showed pigs on my clearing eating corn 30 minutes after i drove through with the sow. I think its a completely different sounder of about 12 more pigs. Business is about to pick up!

Eastex, i was friends with Mr Johnson for the last 5 years of his life. He's the best friend i ever had. I've raised Johnson dogs and tried to be honest. a scott dog is definitely gonna have more reserve and heat resistance than a Johnson. But as a lead in catchdog, i think a Johnson would do fine. I'm tring to get this boy i have going and he's definitely cranked up on hogs. I just need to get him on more hogs. Cuttinup, yea, I've got 50 acres, on the end of a street, i mean, I'm in a suburb of Birmingham Al. But butting up to my land, is about 20,000 acres all in a trust with the "trustees" all living out of town. All this land is 300 ft downhill from the neighborhoods, big creek and thick privet. Just a few atv'ers run through every so often. I have a spot cleared out on my land and daily put out feed for critters and keep up with local animals on my game camera. Some nice hogs running around in my lil slice of heaven. I'm fairly new, slowly getting my pack together. My jagd is as good as imcould hope for, now , if i can get this bulldog tuned up, i'll be pretty happy. Then i have many dogs i'm trying to work and get up to snuff. Slowly but surely, hope to get there.
