i am 16yrs old an am just now getting into hoghunting ive got good dogs that find me pigs but my catch dog is young he is 10mths old and big! but he catches by the leg everytime. and i dont know how to get him catching by the ear so if u have any tricks to help me get him catching by the ear i would appriceate it dearly! call or text anytime 870-331-9565

If u can let em catch in a "controlled environment" and remove em from the leg and place em on the ear with the proper praise, I'd try that, if that don't work I would call cull unless u want a RCD... just my opinion... just had the same problem till last night... what kinda dog is it?

Just started pitbull and at first she would did the same thing...just kept breaking her and putting her on ear and praising her...
First two times I've took her to woods she caught ear...

foreman Arkansas. thank yall I'm going to try it but if he keeps on catching the leg I'm going to start my dogo/pit cross an ill put him on the pigs ear the 1st time.
