Its just a snorkel for the exhaust. They just weld a longer pipe onto the the end of the muffler so if the bike dies while the muffler is under water it does not suck water back into the motor. SOme times you have to rejet the bike.

yeah on the red bike it acually is the only muffler the factory one rusted out cause of the salt marsh down here .So i welded a long pipe on and ran it out right there to make it easy to fit that muffler ,so it wouldn't be too loud .But it also serves as a snorkle.

By the way, we learned the hard way that you have to make sure the tracking unit isn't in the saddlebags when you decide to take the wheeler swimming. :O)

Its hard to stay balanced when you got a water wheelie going. In the pic I almost lost it and went for a swim.... hit some old ruts. Its cool that yall can get that many people together on private land and not have any problems.
