I wouldn't mind at all, in fact I think it would be a hoot! But I'm not really asking for myself. I have a freind who is a dog hunter in australia. He will be visiting for a couple of days in April and I want to try to take him out for a couple of days/nights of dog work... american style. I'm thinking coon, yote, and boar. I just need to find a few good ol' boys in TX with some good dogs and a willingness to show a visiting ozzy dogger a good time.

Lol! it depends on the day man. I just moved from florida to missouri, and there is a decent chance that I'll be in colorado by then... so who knows.

He'll be flying into california to judge some salukis, and then he's free to go where ever. The hog part isn't a problem. I've got friends with places to hunt hogs in florida, and I've got standing offers to come down and hunt texas hogs with some of the guys on this forum. I've also got friends in kansas and utah that could put him on some good coyote doggin. And I could put him on lots of good coon dogs myself here in missouri, but coon season won't be open here in April. So it's the season timing and trying to do everything in one state... I don't mind draging him around to hook up with guys in 3 or 4 different counties in one state, I just want to avoid having to drag him to three or four different states.

Hey Dirtydog, I think I met you at Bremmond , along with Matt. I was the chunky white dude with all the crappy old tattoos (well that could be a hoop of us) and the leggy American style female jagd. My old lady and the kids are bailing on me for about a week. I was windering if you have anything going on next weekend and felt like meeting up and shootin' the bull about terriers.

There are plenty around the Seguin, San Antonio area. They have a yearly luncheon invite where they go hunt cats, coyotes and what ever else they might bay up catch and kill.  Dilley TX.
