If you are selling a dog or most anything...It would be nice if you would post a picture...but at the very least it would be nice to say the where abouts you are located...You don't have to post your address but you could say I am about an hour north of Houston, TX on I -45...at least folks will know if they want to bother with a text or phone call...because there is no sense in making a call if the distance is out of the callers driving range...

this used to not be a problem as the moderators stayed on top of deleting ad's that did not post location/email/phone # etc but I believe with the growth of the site it has probly gotten a decent amount harder to police the ad's. I understand that not every one has the equip. to post pictures but I'm pretty sure that every one on here knows where they are located  Cheesy

It is nice when they have the town listed. Long drive from me to most of y'all so location is important. Then I still have to use google. Lol

 I use this link http://www.melissadata.com/lookups/phonelocation.asp?number=9363663024
It works good if the number location is where the person lives. If u looked up my number, it would say lufkin tx, but i live in central. A location SHOULD be requiered. If i see something that cstches my eye and no location, i mite use melissadata or just go on past it and not bother with it. Pics would be nice, but dang it a location is beeter than a pic sometimes

Makes no difference what you post. You can post pictures, location, phone numbers, e-mail AND still be asked where are you located? Can you post or send photos. IT would help if the potental "buyers" would actually read the whole damn post or be the ones looking at it and not some friends buddies girlfriends sisters boyfriend. LMAO

Reuben, I agree.  To take it one step further, I wish people would put the location in the topic.  Foe example:

Started young dogs for sale in Houston.

This give the reader and idea of location before they even open the post.

LOL!!!!  Agree 100%!   I always put as much info that I can in an add to keep from answering the same questions over and over. Even put in all capital letters and STILL get asked, whur u located.
If you can post on here and have a digital camera or smart phone you can post pics anywhere.
Ive got an app on my phone called area code, I just put in area code and it pops up the cities and state. VERY handy.
