Well Ain't got nothing big or bad to brag about. Just caught a small boar and a shoat today. Just been having a run of bad luck lately with water well quit working, A/C went out, was in an auto accident stuff like that, so this morning was a nice change to get back in the woods. Afterwards we went home, I think Thomas must have been a fowl mood and had his thinking cap on while processing the hog for our dogs. but with our pet Guinea Keet supervising Thomas got the job finished Glad my Husband loves me enough to put up with all my critters

Is that thing full grown? It looks like some kind of chicken/buzzard cross. He's just letting that bird sit on his head so he can go yell at your goat later.

In the Guineas defense...... It is my first and only Guinea that was given to us at a day old, also was a turkey, the turk died and left me with a lonely guinea so it thinks it belongs with people rather than the older meaner chickens! It is only about 2 months old and follows us around like puppy. Unlik the chickens it has never crapped on us while holding it or sitting on us So far, although I am not a guinea expert it seems much more intellegent than my Chickens, and is really starting to knock out the insect population. From what I read they are the Best for Tick population control. I agree they don't belong on your head, but try telling that to the juvenille Guinea that rather be with people! It is not very pretty but then again what do expect at the UglyDog Ranch? Besides that the dern thing likes eating the pork too so it can't be all bad

Just don't get another one Krystal and you'll be fine Those things multiply like rabbits and once you get a few of 'em together, they're louder than any watch dog you've ever heard.... a leaf falls.... they're gonna let you know it
