Find a super star of a male cur to breed her to.
I would skip right over a grey hound pit cross.

I agree if you are looking for a good dog a good cur will do preferably a Catahoula I have been using cat/ hound crosses since 2003 , and raised and sold several litters and surprisingly enough they all wound up being tight mouthed , until either looking at a hog or a busted bay . there were several that went on to become fine cow dogs as well . the reason I say use a good cur dog is just this , you still want the dogs to have a little of that livestock working instinct to remain in the offspring if you are going to hunt hogs with them .

I've got the absolute perfect dog to breed her to. Where are you located? I've got a very hard hunting YBM. He's close to 100 pounds. Out of an old line of dogs that came from northwest Alabama over 40 years ago. He's completely silent, huge head, long legs and ears, amazing composition, built like a brick number 2house. Got a voice you can hear a mile away and loves water.

greyhound /pit would be a good one to breed to it sure would makem ruff and shut them up . You got the speed , Nose, Wind , legs, Lungs , Stamina its all there if it hits.
Bird Dog, Bird Dog cross would be a good one.
Are just a really good dog that comes from dogs that are known to hunt quite.

Well let me know if you're interested. I've got friends up that way I could go visit. I'd love to see some people use him as a stud dog. The old men that had dogs out of this line are dieing off and I don't know of anymore dogs like him. I really need an awesome female to breed him to. You're more than welcome to see him hunt. I've got one dog that's a Plott x Parker cross that's great but I'd just about guarantee you they'd be open and not bay as good as this one. This dog is big but he moves like a cat.
