Didn't end up hunting today so...... Back to last night. Dropped Sasha and Alley on one end of the property and let them do their thing. They hunted out a good 7 or 800 yard area all around us and came up empty so we pick them up and head up about a mile and drop them again. After about 30 minutes they sit down and we here them chopping at about .6  We drive to about 350 yards and can't drive any farther. Send my buddy and his two helpers to the bay. He calls me when hes at 60 yards and I send Dixie and Weezy (my 2 pit/danes). As soon as they get there the bay breaks. Goes a couple hundred and all hell breaks loose. By the time we get there we don't have any catch dogs left and Sasha and Alley are still bayed. I call back and have one of the guys go get a gun. About an hour later he shows up with a single shot 22. I was able to get in close enough to somewhat see this pig in the dark and make a hell mary shot at his head. Got super lucky and dropped him where he stood. Not a good night night for the catch dogs but at least we took the pig out..
