With over 10k on the odometer when it quit working, my 2000 Kawi prairie bit the dust several months ago. I got invited on a hunt last weekend and was offered the use of  someone elses atv, which i was very nervous about in the first place. and after i rolled Their atv in a creek bed on that hunt i felt even worse. I've asked a ton of atv questions here and elsewhere, and today finally pulled the trigger on a brand new Suzuki King Quad 500. Never owned anything suzuki before, but all the input I got about them was good. And 0% financing sealed the deal on it for me. This is my first atv with IRS, and just riding around my neighborhood I can't believe how smooth it is. I'm taking it out tomorrow for a ride in the woods. I know this post is kind of pointless, I'm just pretty stoked about my new ride! I can't wait to beat the crap out of it!!

I have a king quad 450, and I've put that thing through hell. I've never had any problems with it. It's been the best ATV I've had. I've had it completely submerged, rolled it a few times there's not much I haven't done to it and it might not be very pretty any more but it has never left me stranded.

Well i put about 2hrs on it today just taking it easy trying to get some break in time on it and I'm liking it so far.  I can't believe how smooth this thing rides. It's the first atv I've ever ridden with IRS, and it rides like a Cadillac. Power seems good, but the book says half throttle or less for first ten hrs so I don't really know yet. Can't wait till I get her broke and and see how it handles the rough stuff!
