Are you looking for dog and hog only, or do you want to carry an ATV or UTV on the trailer too?

Hello,
What works for me is 5x12 trailer (lowboy) that I can put my dog box in. IMO it leaves my options open, can haul atv on the trailer with dog box in my truck when traveling. Upon arrival I just hook up the trailer to atv and back up to truck and load dog box to trailer. You can put the caught hogs in the dog box and remember lots of couplers attached to the dog box are handy. I know there are better options for some but this works great for me. Sorry I do not have pictures, well I probaly do. I need to figure out how to load pictures to this site. Good Luck....

Caughtandhobbled,

Are you the same Bennie that Mandi met at Dr Wager's last month? and the same Bennie that is friends with Harry?

Some things we have on our hog, dog, and mule trailer are items that we just either couldn't live without or things that have made our lives easier. Some of those things are...

15 gallon water tank plumbed so you have gravity fed running water on both sides of the box.

Steps ahead of and behind the fenders for stepping up onto the trailer.

Short flip up ramps for the mule.

Brackets that hold our coolers in without having to strap them down.

Game hoist that swings to load hog into cage.

Our trailer and mule set up is a work in progress. We keep figuring out ways to improve on it. It seems like every time we get a chance to poke around on someone else's rig we end up modifying our own. These are just the things we have really liked having on it.

Cheers!

Chris,
It is me. I look forward to meeting you. Your better half is a cool gal, I really enjoyed visiting with her. You guys need to come hunting with me. I am going this evening. Has anyone caught anything at the sheriffs department yet? Those city slicker hogs are a lot smarter or maybe faster than my dumb ole country hogs. Take care....

Here's a pic of my little trailer. It's actually pretty handy pulling around and we load our hogs in the back of the truck. The box also comes off and works in the back of the truck as well.
