I have just recently started her, just starting off id say she gets 5-600 yards, stays busy all the time. she acts like she has some grit to her, at first all she would do is bark, now she gets in there and sinks a few teeth in them. Soon as she comes in hear we are breeding her to a jam up cur dog. she is just barely over a year

3 of mine are 1/4 bird x 3/4 cur, I'd like to cross them back on more bird for the drive. It sure puts some "busy" in them. Hard to find a bird dog that's fast though, most of the straight ones I've seen are quick, just not fast. I'd try and cross yours on a big, fast, gritty cur if I were you. Good luck!
