 These are some pictures of the kids getting the job done ! We let all the smaller kids throw the smaller calfs keeps them envolved and we all sure get some good laughs.....There is not a kid over 10 years old in there most of them were about 7..

Great pictures....I wish I had a digital camera as my oldest boy was growing up. That lad could write a book!!!!
That is what is wrong with the world today. So many kids have never worked or even seen animals being born and simply do not place any value on life at all (theirs or others).
I truly look forward to meeting you and Rowdy one day and any others you hang around with. Later....

We've been doing the same thing with the smaller bull calves and kids... no ropes though, we just grab a back leg, then another man grabs a front and stretches them out... Seth's little brother got the best kick to the forehead I've ever heard last week... poor little guy  Sure was funny when we finally got his hands pried off his face and could see he didn't lose an eye ....... don't think he'll be leggin' bull calves for a while  |
