I would say some of it is staged the rivalries and the drama stuff. Other parts I feel are real. The pig running under the horse was real and the emotion from lea was real. The pig was in the jeep and so was the dog. Just like any other reality show there are real moments and emotion at times but they also have the staged stuff that results in some of the real stuff. U have to watch it for what it is. A SHOW.

The pigs squealing before the dogs open and that same locator bark every time is added later for more excitement for the general public. As far as seeing the same footage in places when it is suppose to be different pigs well. Get u a camera and try to film every aspect of the hunt from start to finish. I bet u don't end up with all the footage.

I don't know what I hate worse, how fake it is, the fact that they know it;s fake and profit off of it (which, who can blame them I guess) or the fact that some people out there watching it believe it's real.

Lots of it is due to poor editing I think. I agree, alot is certainly staged but....there have been some things I'm pretty sure are legit. Ol' Jerrys got an e-bay addiction now, lol. Poor guy can hardly even walk now looks like.

Yeah Leah was surely bona fide upset when she saw her horse almost get cut up. I'd have been peeved too.

They are takin it a lil extreme on the Creek guy sweating Jerry so much though. I bout died when he was in that barn shootin, and then you see this lil shoat released on the other side take off runnin....

All in all, it's entertainment like others said. I don't feel they make the sport look too bad or anything, so I'll keep watchin.

animal planet will be airing the hunt they came here to tyler tx and did with us in may what i found confusing is the brush they were in they thought was thick i dont think they ever hunted east texas and know what thick is, but i guess alot of what they do is fake but it makes good tv the hunt that will be airing in may is not fake the only problem is they only had time for one hog and it was a 100lb sow soaking wet, but its all legit she was buried up in devils barb wire and downed dead trees it was fun pulling her out, but i hope it atleast represents what we go through in east texas to get these hogs and how hard it really is.

Its not real....its all staged. They are precaught...turned out hogs...a lot of times spray painted....thats fact!! . The drama is staged, the hogs are typically the same hogs.

Guess it really doesnt make the sport look bad....but it is hard to watch knowing what they do.  It is a little entertaining on how dumb they look to people that actually do this

I love the show! Pure Entertainment, lol.

Sure there are A LOT of uh......stretches....twists....whatever, lol. But I just watch it for what it is....a t.v. series. That I get enjoyment out of...lol.

One thing...for all the haters.....and im just kinda spitballing here.... But....with this show on the air.....do the odds of our sport being outlawed increase or decrease? Just something to think about. Lol

I thinks it's funny how their camera man is the best strike dog they have lol! Seems everytime they find a hog the camera man is right on its heels then the dogs come out of nowhere.

1-strike camera man
5- help dogs  Evil

But can't hate em to much, they are making a living hog hunting (kinda). Plus they are getting alot of people that thought hog hunting was cruel a different view of hogs and the damage they do.

Well its a Cable tv show folks. If you get that channel then chances are you get at least a hundred other ones too.

Y'all sound like women being forced to watch a porno. Lol
 Grin Cheesy laugh laugh

Lmao! For me, its more like watching the home team getting their butts kicked on homecoming night.

They are a part of the community, so you want to support them and cheer them on..... but sometime its painful to watch.

Its mostly due to poor editing. The old man cracks me up. The made up story line is sort of lame. But it is one of the better things on TV at the moment. But they are hunters like us so they need our support because they sure as heck aint gonna get it from the tree huggers.

They did a lot of filming here in Albany and i had two nights of talking and some beer drinking with Mr. Creek. I enjoyed the conversation and hope to get to do some hunting with them in the future! As for the show, It is what it is..A TV show! It gets a little goofy at times but i dont think has done any harm to the sport.

I do wish someone would come out with a real HUNTING show with dogs!
