Charles , the last show was filmed at the ranch I got married at. I hunted with Randy a handful of times years back. I enjoyed it. That old dog he still has is a good one. I have hunted with Cody one time with a mutual friend.

If u say so. Im not gonna argue, but in the beginin when they were gearin up n rolled out down the rocky dirt road, they were at randys shop, left there, went 3-400yds down the road n then started "huntin". Randy n i hinted the other side of the creek where it was the openin hunt was filmed at, this past sat n randy called me a wk or so back n ask to me to cone help get a big hog outa the same creek where cody n ronnie were tiein the hog, when shep n randy stayed up top. That place is a rocks throw from where i live. Yes, mondo (if thats the dog ur referin to" is 1 huntin machine.

They did show them leaving from Randy's shop, but a lot of the show was and is bits and clips edited together. The majority was filmed at Tenroc...thats where the supposed "BIG HOG" that is eating the baby lambs resides.

Yep, i told the wife the same thing of the clipin n editing it. There was multiple clips of land near our houses. There were places i didnt reconize, so i assumed it was on the ranch, like the bridge over the creek, i figured it was on the ranch.

Yes 3rd string was a stretch but sometimes a point has to be blended in with the mentality of a conversation. If you want to talk Lacys you should talk to Ol Shep he's forgot more about Lacys and blood dogs than 90% of hunters and that is not a stretch. I want the big hog too!

I can tell ya that some of randy's cull r better than some folks dogs , mine for example, but i do agree that sayin 3rd string better than 90% of other folks dogs is a lil stretch unless he is referin to the other 3 creek team members. Just as with cthd, if u think what the show is representing to be the real deal of hog hunters n their dogs, u mite wanna lay off the reality tv shows. Sayin randys 3rd string is better than 90% of other folks dogs is a huge stretch, but sayin some folks culls can produce the product better in the land they r huntin in, well to wrongs dont make a rite. The area the last show was filmed in NOT portraied to be in, has produced some good size hogs n holds a good bit of them.
I was not trying to misconstrue my comment to mean the show is a real representation of these men and their dogs. I know it's not..... I was simply stating in the given circumstances of what was portrayed as their land to hunt there was a herd and I mean herd of hogs run in front of them just trotting along, if that'd be the case then yes I do believe you could take some culls and do quite well there. Understanding the show isn't real and that's prob not the case I was just being facetious stating culls could catch hogs on that land. I do believe culls will produce better product in better conditions yes, don't you agree If there's more hogs the chances of the dogs having an opportunity to turn out into a better dog increases by some extent? Either way I'm sure the fellas are good ppl and have good dogs, hell I wouldn't mind hunting behind em and seeing their dogs work.

Seriously people, I'm gaining land to hunt because "hogs will eat you and everything you own". You seriously don't have to watch it, or comment on it. But take the opportunity to gain land

Mondo is not only a good dog but his offspring are as well. Almost everytime I hunt we hunt behind some of his babies and they are good. I can think of 5 dogs this year out of him that I have hunted behind and they get it from the time they first hit the ground. Any of these guys that think them boys dogs won't hunt I'd be glad to have your # so you can help catch them when my wife has been calling for hours to get home but were waiting on the dogs to come in!!

Hell cdc, id say lay a wager down. Id put a couple 1000 on mondo n a couple of his pups n put them up against some other dogs. Id also take a 5/1 wager.

Don't get me wrong. I believe that they have some amazing dogs but they should let it be more realistic IMO. I'm not gunna knock them down tho, heck they are doing what I wish I could. Hog huntin for a living and doing a great job apparently.
