Hell cdc, id say lay a wager down. Id put a couple 1000 on mondo n a couple of his pups n put them up against some other dogs. Id also take a 5/1 wager.

Well I'm a gamblin man so 5/1 is pretty good odds!  I'd take that bet against MonGo and 1 CD!  Thats just to hard to turn down.  Must be a heck of a dog!!

What is up with creek acting so crazy he makes me ashamed to be a hogdoger

Its called script acting. He aint like that person. Its REALITY TV, not a ng documentry

If its "REALITY"  it shouldnt be scripted, should it??? Reality: is the state of things as they actually exist!

They are regular hunters just like everyone else here so with a little luck anyone could win that bet.

I know it's just TV and I don't want to start a debate,  but it's gotten too silly for my taste.
I've been watching the show just because of Lea, she makes it worthwhile and I can only think how lucky her husband is to have a woman like that.
But I just finished watching the episode with Ronnie's niece.  She was a bright spot on the show and looked like a great hog dogger herself, so I was thinking I could tolerate Ronnie and his antics a while longer.  But then he goes and shoots her school book?   Undecided
That was the last straw for me.  I deleted the show from my DVR recording schedule.  The other Creek boys redeemed themselves this season and all seem to be 'good ole boys' and I wish them the best.

I do agree with you that they are more than likely good ol boys/girls and 95% of us would probly get along with em great but in my opinion that show is WAY too fake/scripted..........and yea yea yea I know its made for TV BUT I personally think it is terrible, not blaming the actors so much as the directors/ editors, I know it has to be something that the general public will watch BUT DANG, WHY SO MUCH DRAMA??? I go to the woods to enjoy the time with my friends/family and to catch a hog or 2, not to be constantly yellin hollerin and arguin, if I EVER went on a hunt like those trainwrecks I would pack up and adios it!

It may not seem this way but I honestly would hunt with any of the campbells or creeks any day of the week as long as there ain't any camera's around, I bet off camera they are good down to earth country folk like the rest of us, TV will make you do some crazy things!

I dunno if it was just me but....the scene where he shot her 'school book'....if ya looked close....it looked like a dang Haynes repair manual! LMAO I swear it did! Them school books are super expensive. so I'm sure they used a replacement.

I have met the creek boys at the first of this at a compition hunt. They are down to earth good ole boys. We got to talking about the show and they said they were struggling with the producers to keep it more realistic and less scripted. They are good guys.

Not that they'll miss me or my not watching will make a difference, but Ronnie's antics are what ruined it for me.  I used to watch it with my daughter, but now it's nothing but cussing and temper tandrums.

The whole shows to much for me, they literally see the hog everytime before the dogs even strike, I've actually hunted in a tournament against the creek Boys so I guess they do actually hunt their just in the show To get their names out there. Just funny how they always see the hog before the dogs ever do. Never seems to work that way for me.

But u don't have a team of editors putting film together for u. Out of every episode I would bet they don't have 10 min of new footage of hunting. The rest if B roll. Is that the fault of the Campbell's or Creeks? No. That is just the challenge of filming hunts. The camera only sees so much and we all know being in the heat of it everything happens real fast so the editors take the footage from the last couple years and fill in the blank. That is the same reason all the folks on swamp people were the same clothes on every episode. Makes it lots easier to fill in the blanks with file footage.

I think ETHD should make a DVD that shows bay dogs do more baying instead of just rcd's the American hogger may not want to loses hog i get that but they don't show that the dogs having trouble its not intense when watching it but i give props on (hard core videos) they show the hard work it takes to catch big hogs on video but to get video like that takes time! ethd DVD should show people on this site that post videos that comes out good. i know some are good enough to burn to a DVD. wouldn't it be cool to see the dogs we hear about all the time on video an to watch not just are dogs improve as well as others. It could make this site a little stronger an friendlier site. I know i just bought a camera to show the great times to my further kids an friends an family.. Smiley us dog hunters love dogs if we didn't have them just think where would u be, lets start documenting the past to show for the hard work every one of us have put forward to making the sport last, I'm pretty sure every one of yall have put blood, sweat an tears specially when a dog leaves this world to rip to show we care about are dogs to make people think about the hard work it takes before pull the trigger or running over them or poisoning them.
