who all has dogs from monty bennet...

Just curious who all has em, I hear a lot of good things about them and have seen a few work. So if u have one post up some pics and I'd like to hear about them. How early they started, how rough they are and how they range.

I've had 4 brothers out of his 7/8 Catahoula 1/8 walker cross and there the best dogs I've ever had. They started really young around 6 months old and were ruff as could be. I've got allot of video working then as pups in Mr masons 8 acre wooded pen on all size hogs, the main pup I ran was a blue spotted dog that I sold back to Monty several months ago. He was the longest ranging pup. He would go about 800 yards alone at 10 months.  Worst decision of my life. You can't get any more honest of a guy then Monty and he'll go out of his way to help you if he can.

pitman all my dogs are catchy. the only line of blood thats loooose bay is my tater blood. my curs, my kemmers, my cat/plott/bmc line is rough.
and ill be the first to tell you not all my pups make dogs. and most ppl arent going to talk to much because most of the guys i give or sale dont talk alot. i have no reason to lie to any body.

Monty is a good guy and I'm happy with my female cur from him. He represented her exactly as she is and explained why he was selling her. No surprises. I havent worked her enough, which is my fault, but she hates a hog.  Once there is a bay, she is on it and after that,  she is all business. monty has made some suggestions that he thinks would help get her out hunting further,, but i'm in a little different situation here in Alabama than u boys in Texas. But let me tell you, she got bred by a male cur i have, the two pups are 6 months old and they dont hang around and are baying the hair off a hog in a pen. Both are excellent looking dogs too.  I recomend Monty as highly as you can recomend someone, i am that happy with my "monty hound" and her offspring

Have got to use them yet because they are still pups but I have 2 cd pups from him, if i remember correct the sire was a 1/2 pitt 1/2 ab and the mom was full pitt I believe. They are dang fine lookin pups. The female is gonna be a rocket in the woods.......she's is gamey as hell, the male is WAY more laid back. I dont have recents pics but i'll get some, these were over a month ago.
