Lets see your pen raised pigs. Breed etc. I have a question what do y'all do with your pigs you raise and breed? Maybe a dumb question just curious. I have two hand raised sows and still don't know what I'm gonna do.

I dont have pics, but.... I pen raise pigs, we eat most of them, but today, I was gonna take a boar and a sow to the hunt club...sssshhhhhh...... but I caught her up, and had her at the back of truck, and reached up to open dog box and, she kicked out of my hand.... stupid hog.

Bad thing about having a pen, is no dog woulda took the track that close to the pen. so i said the heck with it.

But to answer your question, We turn some out, an burn some up

I'm gonna try and get some piglets out of that spotted sow. Keep her and the grey Boar. Ive used him for starting pups already. Ill slaughter that black boar this coming winter. The pot bellied...heck...i dont know, ill probably use her for starting young pups too.

My buddy caught a mule footed boar (50#) this past winter and that sucker could jump higher then any pig I've ever seen! He had to put him in a shed because he could've easily jumped out of the pen. In the shed he would run at a corner and jump about 6' up then bounce up the wall like a squirrel. Darnedest thing lol
