alright my dogo/bmc cross is looking like she is going blind. her right eye is almost completely milked over and the other one is starting to. she has ate everything my bmc gyp has their kennel spaces are right next to each other, they have been exposed to the exact same things. nothing is wrong with my bmc gyp. what could cause this? they have been around each other for about 2-3months now and i was out of town this weekend when i checked them they seemed fine(a good friend of mine was feeding them while i was gone). i asked him he said that she was fine when he was feeding her. friendly and nothing around her area unusual. i didn't think to look at her eyes. she greeted my like normal has been eating fine. any help is greatly appreciated.

HOW OLD IS SHE? IT COULD BE AGE IT COULD BE SOME THING THAT SHE GOT IN HERE EYE AND  INFECTION COULD HAVE CAUSED THEM 2 START GLAZING OVER. BUT JUST BECAUSE THERE CLOUDY DOES NOT MEAN SHE IS GOING BLIND IT COULD BE INFECTION CAUSING IT. DO U USE BLEACH OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF CHEMICALS AROUND HER? DOES SHE HAVE GREEN BOOGERS OR WEEPING EYES? GO 2 WALMART AND GET SOME'' UPICON EYE DROPS'' AND START WITH THAT U CAN ALSO US ''TERRIMICIN'' EYE OINMENT AND FLUSH HER EYES DAILY. USE MILK AND DROP IT IN HER EYE AND ANYTHING STUCK IN  IT HER EYE SHOULD COME OUT. IT COULD ALSO BE CATERACTS FORMING LET ME NO HOW IT TURN OUT. PS  UPICON EYE DROPS SHOULD CLEAR UP THE CLOUDY LOOK

Kopa is 9 months old and this syptom has just happened. I have her 2 sisters and brother and have seen nothing wrong with them. I would assume it is an irritation or infection.  If it gets worse I would take her to a vet. Her eyes are as important as her nose and legs. Let me know what you find out?

I have a 5yr Lacey Male and on his right eye a black spot appeared and just keep getting bigger and bigger. Took him to the doc and he said it was some kinda cancer and that once it started protruding and bothering the dog then he would have to remove the whole eye. Well its stopped growing and isn't bothering him so I really don't know. Looks like you could just peel it off. Sorry never had and cloudy eye problems but the mycien ointment in the eye would work best.

took her to the vet a little while ago. damn doc didn't know what it was, go figure...told her to give me some eye oinment and i would be in touch. got her home a little while ago and she is just fine now. eyes are still a little cloudy but she is barking and being a happy dog. she seems fine...the doc did say that she was seeing fine cause she was looking at people walking around the office and such, so i don't think her vision will be impaired permanantly..thanx for the help guys...

Had two of my dogs have the same thing. Vet told me he didn't know either. But he give me some ointment they had and it was cleared up in a few days. It came back in one of the dogs but put ointment in it again for a little longer period of time. Been good ever since. I had also switched dog food at the time. May have not had anything to do with it though.
