Bryant, John Tuttle, James, and I all went to our new hunting spot yesterday morning.

All of the dogs packed into the ranger. The dog on the far right, facing the rear is Bo, a dog that we got from Bryant. He is a little under a year old and is a hunting fool. He has only been on a few hunts and has already found hogs, and is doing real well with knowing to back off of a caught hog. Thank you Bryant, we are very happy to have him in our pack.

The dogs bayed and caught five hogs. We only brought four out because one parished in the woods and no one wanted to wade the briars to go get it.  Smiley  I guess we are getting spoiled.

The first bay was a sow with choats. The dogs had one of the choats caught when we got there. They rolled out and Bryant's Preacher and Stryker dog went and found the sow a couple hundred yards away.

Bryant breaking Goblin off of the second hog. He was caught hard!

We drove the dogs over to the other side of the farm and turned them loose near some milo fields. The struck another group of hogs. We could see some large hogs fleeing across the back side of one of the fields. But the garmin showed that we had a bay so we took off to the bay. On the way to the bay, one of the dogs struck a hog beside the trail we were on. James tossed another dog out to help that one and we continued on to the first bay.

When we got there we found that they had another choat......Yeah

We could hear the dogs that had bayed on the trail on the way to the first bay. They also had a choat.  Cry

So we decided to push the dogs to where we had seen the big hogs crossing the milo field. It worked out because they found and bayed a big sow. The bay broke right when they turned the cd's loose, but they caught her about a hundred yards away on the edge of a muddy reservoir bank.

John, James, and Bryant with the fifth hog of the day.

Must be a good cooler in the back of that truck if it can support all that weight sitting on it.
