How do some of you guys get places to hunt? We have a couple small places to hunt but would like to get more!! With summer coming our hunting is going to slow down some, because its just too hot and we rodeo and team rope and all that good stuff!! LOL We would just like to get some more places lined up!!

X2 on knocking on doors. If u do so be sure to dress nice. Not Sunday go to meeting but nice. It makes a difference. Any place farmers and ranchers hang out is also good place to get leads. Make u some buisiness cards and don't be pushy. List references of current land owners u hunt on so they can check u out. Remember u are asking to roam a mans property in the middle of the night with no supervises so open the book for them.

id put hogs in a trailer and drive around town , we have ppl walk up and start talking and i give them a card with my name and phone#.

First impression will be there last impression of you when asking to gain access to various properties. Look professional as stated earlier and leave ph # of other places you have access to. I've had to leave a resume once it was my working resume the guy was real tough but we gained full access to his place. He also loves it when 15-20# of sausage is dropped off about three to four times a year. He is now requesting certain flavors so I must be doing a good job. Good Luck and safe hunting.

go to churches that usually works great! good people that have other friends that need help with removing them pest. or post a flyer on the feed stores or drop a flyer in the mail boxs lol .

I pay right around 2500$ in lease dues every year to have a couple places to hunt. It'd be nice to hunt for free, but I'd rather pay money to be able to do what ever I want with my hogs than to have to kill every hog I catch...

not churches , the church i go to has some older folks that needed a hand on there land they own . i have 2 churches 1 in texas in 1 in louisiana im back an forth.
