Hello fellas one of my dogs got cut last weekend and I have been treating it with poroxide and blue lotion daily and it is looking good. On Saturday when I went to clean it the was a small puss bubble next to the cut. I had this same issue a while back on a different dog but was much worse. We ended up lancing it and all was good. My question is will it heal on its own being that it is much smaller or will it need to be lanced as well? Also what do y'all recomend using to clean future cuts to prevent this from happening again?

I clean mine by flushing with cold water for a few minutes...then swab out with Triodine-7 and spray Cut-Heal!! Seems to work for me!

Soon as the cut happens I try to hit with betadine/water mixture, followed up with fresh water. Then I go ahead and give an antibiotic to keep it from getting infected depending on the cut, if its not serious then just some nu stock and flushing with water 5 minute intervals 2 or 3 times a day

I like the pink lady and the vetricyn. The only difference is its just easier to spray the vetricyn than it is to swab the pink lady on.

Best most cost affective cleaning solution is old time concentrate lysol comes in small brown bottle use two cap full with water in a spray bottle like a cleaned out windex bottle spray cut thoroughly. Wait 5 min then i use pink lady cut meds i use it on pigs, dogs, n horses. Have a cut that won't heal try this i guarantee it to heal.
