I tell ya'll what... I have messed with buying dogs trying to find the right finished dogs. But man if you are patient enough, and not a back stabber or poacher; good stuff comes to you. I just had an AWESOME dog given to me. Just being in the right place at the right time. And this is the second one I have had given to me. First one died. Just be patient, stick to your word, and always be ready to lend out a helping hand and it will eventually return!!!

Cant agree with this one enough!  Ive had the best two dogs ive ever had given to me, by two different people.  I dont get to hunt as much as i used to and my yard is turning into the retirement community for hog dogs.  The two ive had and the bunch ive turned down were finished as finished gets, but above 5 or 6 years old.  And for some thats OLD.  For me hunting a couple times a month its perfect.  Ive never spent a cent on a dog, just be patient and get to know some more folks and good things come your way if you help out where you can.

My opinion on the talk is just train ur own dogs yes it takes time and slot at that but u no the dogs every move u no if he is hunting hiding ect... I've lost alot of money to people with good hog digs and coon dogs on here. Also sold my best dogs that the guy said I could buy back for to grand when he paid 12. Lol pissed me off but make the dogs ur self and ul be happy of what u trained and made of ur dogs. I no I won't buy on here I'll sell or give away but won't do no one wrong . Im 18 years old and I won't buy from young people I like older people cause there probably serious about the sport others just want easy money not speaking of myself but my friends think that way and pisses me off...

Young or old don't make a difference the worst thing that's happened to me on here was from a middle aged guy who probably does know a lot about a dog but apparently needed some money.
