I find it humerous that someone says they have a finished dog and everyone tries tell how they are wrong. I don't care if its true or not. I got no reason to think its not.

Congrats on your dog. If it is indeed true then lets see some pics.

I agree it seems that there is more cut throat than anything else these days and if some one wants to shout out they have a awsome dog than so be it, congrats ( if a hunter can not be proud of his pack and tell friends about it whats the use right?  I also would like to think that everyoe on here that has a lead dog thinks it is awsome  kinda some what of how it is your lead dog ...hmmmm.... Huh? i dont get it come on folks think a little )

Hell, load him up and lets see how awesome he is. I've got a few places in mind that will test his awesomeness if you don't mind traveling... I like to see sure enough good dogs hunt.

Grin that is how you talk about it, be about it... Go hunt him and find out just how good he is. I like your style Mike.

But I do agree about the cut downs, ain't no sense in cutting a mans' dog down unless u've seen it hunt and that was just your opinion; and even then it'd be better to keep it to yourself. All I ever say about my lead dog is that he is one of the best dogs I've hunted behind... Lol and for all anyone else knows I'm hunting behind a bunch of poodles or for that matter have only ever hunted behind one dog! Grin

And I completely agree about the statement someone quoted Mr.Mason on... He is wise and speaks from experience. A dog will make you a liar quick.

Good hunting folks.

I guess the next time someone gets a good feeling and decides to tell us how good a cook their wife is or how great their kid is at roping the dummy we should all jump in and tell them they are full of crap....does that sound like a good idea....sounds like fun to me. Hell, I bet if I scrolled back a few pages I could find a dozen places to start!!!! Im sure hes a nice dog and im happy for ya that your proud of him! No need to prove it to me,ill take your word for it.

Both of my parents taught me two phrases at a young age. My mom always said actions speak louder than words, so let your catching swine do the talking. And the second from a man of few words, as long as I could remember my father would tell my GOD GAVE YOU ONE MOUTH AND TWO EARS YOU SHOULD TWICE AS MUCH AS YOU TALK.

Lmao yeah... Like I said, I might be hunting with poodles. Grin Just cause I like our dogs doesn't mean that other folks will...

But either way they find and catch us hogs, so one of my favorite sayings in this game is if you ain't got a pic it didn't happen! Proof is in the pudding! You can look back at mine and Blake's posts and tell we ain't full of chit!

Pictures don't mean sh it about a dog being worth a crap. I like to see pics on weights. True dog work is proven by sight. I have pics of a lot of hogs I have caught. I have yet to own a dog that is worth breeding.

I would love to watch some good dogs work.

I'm more talking along the lines of people saying that they catch a lot of hogs but don't have a picture to show for it... And I agree, I like to see good dog work too which is why I like hunting with other people and is why I like hunting hogs with dogs.

I train labs. I will not train a dog to find hogs. If it doesn't come natural to them they will find a back yard to call home.

And I appreciate you training my lab to swim... He couldn't have done it without you...

All this drama over one simple post that probably wasn't even serious. I thought it was funny. Calm down guys, supposed to be here to help not get at each others throats.

No, dont listen to them continue. . . . .  Grin

I have yet to own a dog that is worth breeding.

That statement is what I want to question. That makes me question, how many dogs have you had? Where are you Dog shoppin? What is your standard of a dog worth breeding? And is there one out there that will meet your criteria? And if not, why even bother with dogs then?

Just an awkwardly placed statement about a man saying he has "an awesome finished dog"

Disclaimer: Take no offense to this questioning, Just simple questions not intending on provoking a further argument.
