I thought about getting me one. I've seen a few marked up like my old leopard cur dog that was killed. Black with brindle trim. Some remind me of the old style leopard cur dogs. I sure like the looks of'm....

I've been hunting parkers for a few years now and love them. Lots of hunt and they dang sure hate a hog. They started out rough but after a few beatdowns they learn to back up. Tons of drive. The thing I like about them most is everyone I have never had to be trash broke, just came out looking for hogs.

The Parker and the Stephens are two curs I'd like have here at the house. The Stephens may work a little better on coons. I sure like the looks of both.

Last time I hunted with him his Parker cur dog was bayed 2 miles from us at a dumpster eating breakfast in Bristol tx. Ask him about that I can't stop laughing.
She went to your dog barking at the dumpster thinking it was bayed, Missy was let down when she got there.  If i ever get back into hunting I will have nothing but parker dogs, I really liked em. Kevin had some great ones. |

Sounds like I'm on the rite track I have three Parker dogs only have two more dogs too get rid of an I will have nothing but Parker's an pit bulls in my yard

About the only way you can hunt one is track hunt or free cast. Though I've seen some nice wind dogs as well.
Try road hunting one, you'll be sorely disappointed.

That's what I want too do with mine is free cast never trained one like this I've always walk hunt or let them wind out the boat any tips on how too start them out to free cast

Pretty much drop the tailgate...most have it bred in em to get gone.
Start em like you would any of your other young dogs, and they'll develop it.

hahahaha ben thats not poncho thats a 2 year old i been hunt'n ..... he's doing good too ,,, i can whistle just like at poncho and he'll quit the boat before i can get to the bank or if he winds hogs ....he looks alot like poncho .... he's off curly bill and a littermate to joe ..... he'll be 3 end of june ....

Jason I have got a 16 month old dog that will leave the country and go find hogs and will be the last dog you pick up he needs to broke off deer but you're more than welcome to come get him and try him I had a litter of pups today so I'm going to cut back
