Haha! I was at Harmony church...Fort Benning...WWII barracks.
Now they have dorm rooms...lol.

What's an off post pass?? Never heard of them.

The only females we saw when I was at Ft Benning was the ones stopped in the cars while we were road marching, and if you looked at one, you was fixing to be flat of your back...Drill Sergeants saw, heard, and knew everything

We had a Big Ol' black lady in the in the chow hall that took our number before you ate and she sang "Oooo child things are gonna get easier" (The Five Fairsteps) it was hilarious.

X2, I believe it was called OSUT or something. I believe only Combat Arms MOS's do it.

If u dont want task force, u can tell them dont want it as soon as u get to green platoon, they send u to reg unit in the pukin chicken. If i woulda had a choice for task force, ida jumped on it like stink on chit. The g and e model hooks r some badass double eggbeater, n u get to play with the gau-17s n air .50s, 2.75 rocket n 20mm weapons. If u choose to go through and complete green pltn, u'll more than likely go into maint, a flt slot is earned, not givin. If u want to crew, bust ur ass, volunteer to help the flt pltn out with their stuff, keep ur nose in the tm's the -10 and make ur brain like a spounge, n absorb every oz of info available. Promotions in task force usualy come faster than in reg army avn. If 160th is ur cup a tea n u can homestead 160th, u will meet folks that hav pull in more places of influence than u'll ever see in reg avn. Good luck to ya, do the best ya can at everything. U'll eventually get to go to some unmentionable place and hav some fun. Them sf guys, rangers n delta boys r some of the best guys iv had the chance to meet, eat with n haul around. Giv it a go man, u wont regret it.

It's just combined basic and AIT without a break in between.

I'm not sure about the combat arms deal exactly and who falls under it, but I know the Cav Scouts do.  But heck you got the Infantry and then you got support  y'all don't get to upset with that last comment

OSUT "ONE STATION UNIT TRAINING"
15U used to be 67U and when some fly boys decided that since they get shot at or shot down during an infill or exfill, they decided to appeal to the dod to classify avn as a combat arms, since every mos below the 20s is considered a combat arms, 15U is now a combat arms. it was redesignated 15U in 2003, my original mos was 67U, but before I left ft useless, it had been changed to 15U.

I but the grunt like it when they get the support when they ask for it. arty, a support unit, "11 bang-bang is under heavy fire, grunt calls for fire and adjusts fire to help support his ass through the fire fight. 11 bang-bang needs to get somewhere real fast or needs to get out real fast, the grunt calls for a ride, a whirly bird comes in and supports his ass out of harms way" everything else is support huhhhh? just messin with ya ba-iv, we all had a choice, and I chose not to sleep with my head in the mud, and beg for a ride or need some id fire.
