This photo taken by Julie aka TrueBlueLacy's at the Bremond baying. Not sure who owns the dog, but the photo is amazing.  I will have to dig around to find my favorite woods picture....actually, the best picture I have ever seen  is only in my mind, not on film. Matt and I had just met the big hog, ole four fingers,  in Richmond head on and cut Tyson loose, watching him hit the hog, get thrown sky high, and keep going back for more. I will never forget that image, as it is ingrained in my mind, and I can see it as clearly now as I did in person last year. Just wish there was  way to share it with others, as it was too cool!

TrueBlue,

What an incredible picture!  What would you charge to accompany us on a hunt and take pictures one day?

There is something about a 40lb do it all dog that leaves me kinda fond of this worthless little number 2. I wish that we would have caught the moment just right a couple of times when he was being tossed around like the dog in the first pic but I love the eyes in this pic.

Mike that is a favorite of mine as well.  Chris I know the picture you are talking about, it is stored away for ever in my mind also.  Definitely not one you forget easily!!  Some of my most favorites are in my mind and that kills me.  I remember when I first started hunting I hunted by myself all the time and man there are some good memories from that.  Groups of hogs, 20-30 of em chasing dogs off and baying up 2-3 big boars together, walk hunting everywhere, no garmin haha the good ole days...

Good hog the dogs bayed up and I shot one morning a few moons ago...

Oldie but a goodie of my dad's dad in 1953

We'll see if I can post a picture...this is an older picture.  The dog on the ear is my old Moe dog, Kevin A's Red cur Lilly and Michael's old dog Shadow.  All of which are no longer with us.

Another shot of the same hog taking a cheap shot at Moe.

Thanks Chris Smiley That one might be my favorite too. Those blue eyes are just so intense.

Cody, I'd probably charge gas (I'm in Austin) and a small fee. I need to get some new editing software, so it would be nice to have the pictures pay for themselves. Just PM me if you have some ideas, I'd love to catch those RCDs in action.

This one isn't mine, my friend Courtney took it, and it just feels like a real hunt to me:

Some more blue eyes in the bay pen:

Speaking of eyes, this is one of my favorite portraits of a hog dog:

And this is one of my favorite pictures I've taken in the woods. I have some that are technically better or cooler hunting moments, but I think it's neat you can almost see a ripple effect through the bays dogs right when Ollie hits:
