I am new to this site but its pretty number 2ty to remove someones post and not tell them. If there is a problem with my ad in the dog classifieds please tell me so I may correct it. But just to do iting remove it twice without giving me a reason is pretty damn number 2ty. Do you guys have any issues with moderators just removing number 2?

Read the rules it's not to hard. There's a section covering what needs to be in your add. While your at it you might want to read the section about the content of your post and language used in it. No since in mouthing off about someone, because you can't follow simple direction. Wink

Pretty sure it had nothing to do with my ad. I have read the rules no since on being a smart a@@ if you are too lazy to drop a friendly message to the poster on why the ad was removed common courtesy. It has happened twice and no message whatsoever. I have alot of friends that referred me to this site but its not a good start to have my posts removed twice in a week. If you would like some lessons on how to moderate I will be glad to assist. It would be like you watch a guy park his truck with his windows down and it starts to rain its ass off... you go in the store and just smile at the guy and don't say a thing. Let me know what part of my add didn't meet the rules

No it's pretty much you come to a site to peddle dogs and don't even have enough decency to read the rules.  If your first 5 posts are in the dog trade and a thread complaining about your lack of rule reading, then maybe the admin isn't the problem.

You'll be lucky to not get banned with an attitude like that. Simple rules no email adds removed no phone number adds removed. There have been probably 50+ post telling new guys to read the rules or it will be deleted I've seen more pop up and get deleted than I can count if you can't follow simple direction that they ask you don't have to be on the board

Ur jumpin on the wrong horse man. The admins dont delete posts just chits n giggles, there was a reason. If they had to go through and correct EVERYBODY's errors in their post, the admins wouldnt be able to do their live supporting jobs.
I had a post removed bc i didnt put a valid number in it bc i used common sence and didnt put my international number down. Once it was deleted, i contacted an admin, explained why i didnt follow the rules, he was quick to offer to put the add back up.
Try politely askin an admin whats was missing, not comin on the gen disc sayin ist pretty chitty of them doin there admin jobs.

X 2...

Here are the dog trade rules....they are pretty much the same for the classifieds.

http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/index.php?topic=6679.0

As far as not messaging you...if we messaged every dumb azz who can't take the time to read the rules before posting like it says at the top then all we would do is message people all day.

I delete on average 10-20 adds a day.

Ain't nobody got time fo that!!!

I have more than five posts. If I post in the dog trade without a phone number AND email admin will delete it. I have had other posts deleted and I did not have a clue. I PM'd an admin and they told me what was up. I think all in all the admin do a pretty good job and they do it much better than I could. So take a deep breath relax and stop trying to get everyone mad at you. We have all had our moments on here just not right out of the gate.

How about sending the moderators a message if you have a problem with something...  common courtesy is a two way street.

Hehe. You sure know how to rub folks the wrong way. I enjoyed this post. Its fun to watch folks shoot themselves in the foot. I always tell my wife when she gets mad at an employee somewhere if you will be nice to them then they will be more likely to try and help you out. Act like that and they won't give a crap about you. Where I work if you are polite I'll do backflips to help you even if it goes beyond my job responsibilities. If you are a jerk I'll give you the bare minimum just to get you out of here or I'll just tell you I don't know.

I apologize I am used to things a little being run a little differently. I have had some serious medical issues and have been quite snappy. I should have posted when I was calmed down and shouldn't have reacted that way. I apologize to all that were affected by my brief lapse in maturity. I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression of me. I should have contacted an admin and asked but I went the retard route (Never go full retard) I don't mean that to offend mentally handicapped people just to clarify. I will contact an admin and see why each post were deleted. For the record I did read the rules but obviously I have overlooked something. I hope that we can all go about our business and do what we are here to do and thats to hunt. I was not peddling dogs I was merely offering my dog for stud services. Given that he is a very very very expensive Dogo I thought it would be nice to help out some hunters with free/cheap studs to advance the dogs out there for the average Joe. Well again sorry hope this doesn't hurt me for life lol. Sincerely Spencer Curtis 903-714-6695 spencercurtis71@gmail.com

Spencer, on a serious note I can't say I remember you post or not as I go through the recent post and when I see an add without a phone # and email I just hit delete. If you post in the dog trade with those two points of contact it will stay there. Maybe you posted in the wrong place or without the info, not sure what one of us did it but if you really knew how many don't read and follow the rules you would understand. This place runs real good because of how it was set up and ran. Glad you see the other side of things as well. So lets move on.

Happy huntin

Good gesture of you to apologize, temper gets the best of everyone from time to time.........believe me, if they were deleting ads from "dog peddlers" the dog trade section wouldn't see near as much action as it does!  Grin.........I have been on here for a longer period than some and a shorter period than others, 1 thing I can say is that the "dog trade"  see's its share of less than desirable dogs/ people.....don't get me wrong, every once in a while a good one or litter of good ones is posted but  it ain't the norm........

Another thing that you may want to think about is this.......

It is pretty common practice for the seasoned users of this site that post day in and day out that have been around for a while to look at a potential sellers thread/post history before ever inquiring about a dog..... I believe someone stated above that up until now all of your posts have been in the dog trade, i'm not saying that you are a peddler by any means but if you care to not have others see you as one also it might be wise to take part in other discussions to show that you are a contributing member to the site able to help out and answer questions when others are in need. Not telling you what to do but I think that you will see the benefits of what im saying. This site is the best on the web when it comes to information pertaining to hogs and dogs and I think you will find that MOST of the members are great like minded people who are more than willing to help each other and see to it that our sport continues in the future. Have a good one and welcome to the site.
