There was obviously something very fishy about the whole thing, hogs leg was tied to a tree or something. They didnt want to show much of the hog after they killed it or darted it to make it look dead or whatever they did.

Ok so im lost, are ya'll saying that american hoggers used a tame hog for their show that 1 of you raised from a piglet or am i mistaken??? Sadly i wouldnt put it past them but i cant imagine they would let it get out......
I assumed it was common knowledge and everyone on here knew how they filmed. But yes... The other knuckleheads typically bring their hogs. I know for a fact they hunted filmed on a place with no hogs, brought their own hogs and spray painted color on hogs to get more footage. |

Make no mistake papat, ive known the show was nothing more than a show since the beginning BUT i figured....or shoulda said I Expected that the people involved were above those types of under the table scheme's......truely sad that tv has reduced them to lying to the public for the sake of what in my opinion is nothing more than a false accomplishment.
I do not watch the show due to all the made for tv antics and honestly rarely even open threads discussing it due to my opinions BUT i saw the comments continue to grow in this one so i decided to see what all the talk was.......in a way i wish i hadn't now

it is no different than swamp people it is all for show. The 2 guys from Texas use to talk about the show and how silly it was till they got offered to get on it now it is all ok. They even got there tags from Troy !!!

One of the guys I hunt with has a friend that took them hunting some place in central Texas. Think it was below Bryan someplace. Anyway, their dogs would not get out from under your feet and didn't find jack. No sweat because they brought their own hogs to catch. What kills me is that they will catch 2 or 3 hogs and then say they have taken care of the ranches hog problem. |

no kiddin hog dog mike I bet ive caught around 700 on one place in 5 years and the problem is still there dn't get me wrong the problem is not near as bad I trapped most of them the first year they came here when the hog market was good but I keep them down to a minimum number now we run them with dogs too.
