I hate it when people hoot and holler at the dogs and whoop on them the whole time. I understand once or twice a hunt but if the whole time your screamin at dogs you can't be havin to much fun

x2...and they whoop the dogs off a hog...then they get mad again when the dogs break off the next hog and back away because they are thinking whooppin time again...

You know what i hate most is when people talk all that non-sense about us folks that kill our hogs! I do it for the rush and down where I am from farm land and costal fields if was to get caught turning a pig back I wouldn't have no where to hunt I might take 1 or 2 pigs out Alive a year for ppl that want em but I live no where close enough to a buying station for it to be worth my while to make money! I have a damn good job i did not get into hog hunting To make money I did it for the rush and the love I have to watch dogs work! I don't insult or talk bad about ppl taking pigs out or barring hogs I think it's awesome yal go out and catch 3 to 400 pound Barr's, so I don't understand why ppl cause so much grief over guys like me killing my hogs! I promise we ain't gonna run out of hogs to catch lol! I am always more then welcome to let anyone tag along with me I like meeting new folks and watching some damn good dog work and slaying bacon that's what it's all about! So with that being said to hell with all the bickering get out in woods kill, tie , or Barr get them dogs in the woods and work there butts this is the time of the year i catch most my big pigs so I am at it 2 to 3 times a week! Wasn't trying to hurt no ones feelings but happy hunting and stack that bacon!

Money ? I must be doing it wrong because it costs my a lot each month. But then again I don't buy and resell dogs. Don't sugar coat it Justin.

I don't buy and re sale dogs either! I got 4 dogs in my pens that go out n get the job done and done right so it don't cost me much money the furthest I have to drive to any of my spots is 30 min so not much in diesel! So yeah i kill the number 2 out of em any day I have off hell even my nights to work i might go kill one

Wannabe hunters I had a hunter pull up next to me at 7-11 one morning and ask me if I new a particular hunter and I told him yea I did he went on to tell me how many pigs he caught with this guys and went into detail hunts with him. When he left my son looked up at me and asked do you know him and I said never met the man in my life then why was he saying he hunted with you.
Man I like that one!

I got several things that get to me.
Trash/beer cans
Skinny dogs
Not protecting your dogs with cut gear.
Not taking care of a cut dog! (Oh they can lick it they will be fine!)
To many dogs on the ground! I know a guy that bought a second Garmin so he could track all his dogs!
People that invite you hunting and tell you to bring a couple dogs then kick 10 outta their box.

There's more I'm sure but I'm done for now! Lol!!!

I agree with everything you said EXCEPT the "people invite you hunting and tell you to bring a couple dogs then kick 10 outta their box" part.......

While i have not and wont ever run 10 dogs at a time in my honest opinion if i am invited on a hunt and grt told to bring a couple dogs thats exactly what i do....who am I to be mad that the person kind enough to invite me is bringin 10 of their dogs to hunt???

I m kinda with Justin, even though I ve never hunted with anyone that brought quite that many or dumped that many at one time, if you don't like their style of hunting and your invited, how can you gripe? Now if you invite them I could maybe see but most hunters I hunt with ask me "how many dogs you want me to bring" we also normally have an idea what kinda hunting we re gunna do roading, casting, etc. I m not typically going to hunt with someone completely different than I do, UNLESS we take turns dropping dogs and he roads then picks up and then I cast etc....  I also kinda for agree with why it would "bother" someone "running dogs without cut gear" I ve had 2 of my dogs get cut Pretty bad and both places the cuts were located cut gear wouldn't prevent.... I know ALOT of ppl that run dogs without cut gear and some that do, neither here nor there who am "I" to tell someone how to run THEIR dogs? Too each their own..

The two that top my list are hunters that you take to your spots & they go back bringing other hunters & the ones that think they have to take every hog out. Granted, I know there are spots where the landowner wants them gone or dead with no exceptions. I am not talking about those spots but places where everybody hunts. We probably release 85% of the hogs we catch on the spot unless somebody wants to get one mounted or stick one in the freezer, but some people just cannot stand the thought of letting one go. I guess I dont get it.
I will never understand this either mike alot of guys down here in s LA don't get it .they kill to many hogs ,I think they think its a competition on who can kill the most hogs they need to ease up !
