I've been hunting with this one for about 2 yrs now, and for the money, durability, size, and convenience, it's one of the best out there in my opinion. My buddy has changed lights like 10 times and finally went to the one i have now.  It throws a really good little beam and has a diffuser which makes it better when your just looking for something in the truck, boat, or fourwheeler. it's completely waterproof and only uses one AA battery! Very easy to change when it goes out. you can do it in seconds and be on your way again. easy to do in the dark as well. I also use Rayovac Stoked! Mines is the Rayovac Remington Arms 150 Lumen LED, It houses 4 AA batteries on your belt and is water resistant with a 25 hour run time! I really like it but still always carry a Dorcy 180 Lumen Submersible LED Light in my pack just in case! I like bright lights!  But don't forget the extra batteries!! The Dorcy uses 6 AAA and only lasts 8 hours so I buy the big pack from Costco of both sizes and throw extras in my pack before I leave the house! |

i have a led headlight that has a low and high side ....low side has a 30 hour burn time high side 24 hours ....its very light and real bright .......the battery is small enuff to fit in you bib overalls .......90 bucks rechargeable and last for months before rechargeing ...check am out at valley creek .................

Competition Light 26 volt belt light. This is a very pricey light, but is very nice to have in the woods. When I'm looking for easy, I use a Streamlight Septor LED headlamp. It opperates on 3 AAA batteries. Very nice, long lasting, and bright for the size.

Its amazing how far lights have come in a few years. One or two AAA batteries can throw a beam and last forever.

I used a Nite Lite for coon hunting when I first started and it was good for a starter light. I let people that I go hunting with use it now. Convenient back up. Now I use a Bandit Belt Light with a Spotlight and walking light connected as well. Great light. A lot of my hunting buddies back in Indiana use them as well. I have had mine for about 4 or 5 years and still burns just as good as the first day I got it. No complaints. http://www.banditlights.com/belt_light.htm |
