I been working off and have got to do absolutely no real hunting for the past couple of months, but I got off yesterday and headed home and met up with a real good friend this morning and had a good hunt.

He had two dogs and I had a Pokey and a 7 month old puppy named Cobb.  Caught the first hog right off the bat, good 140 or so pound Barr hog.  Cobb got turned around and was doing something but he wound up at the hog after we tied it down and and bayed real good on him ha ha.  Caught the dogs up, he didn't have much for teeth but they caught him in a steep shallow creek and he cut all the dogs I think.

Threw out again and caught this boar.  Walked in some planted pines and it was Thick.  I couldn't see anything and Cobb was baying way back, he didn't know what to think, sent the bulldog, he broke and Pokey wound up stopping him and baying him when he tried to run up a road.  I doubt if he wouldn't have fudged up and ran up the road instead of across we'd still be running him.  Anyways he stopped in a ditch at a culvert and Cobb got in close and went to hammering on him, and he got to close and really hit him hard and slung him, he came down and went to really spitting in the hogs face then.  I was happy for his first woods hog. The boar hurt my buddies bulldog so we doctored dogs, turned loose again and came up empty.  It was HOT by then so we called it.

I thought I hit record on the action shot and had some video and but I messed it up and only took a picture I guess.

Here's Cobb.

You can tell Summer is here and I sure enjoyed chasing real hogs instead of all the Internet Hog Doggin' I been doing.

Them two have done wonders on the pups around the house for me.  Just make sure you slip him out the dog box on your way out the gate, or you might get shot with your own magnum  laugh
