I've had a old family red in the yard for a few years , he's 6 ( George ) over the years he's turned out to be one of a kind , I didn't want to loose what I had in him and started studying his pedigree , finding different forums and asking lots of questions , trying to learn what I had and why he was bred the way he was and what I needed to do to keep his blood , I found out I had a battle type cross , bred to a outcross for hybrid vigor , somebody knew what they were doing , a very well bred dog , from what I learned about him and what to do I purchased a line bred female with the blood from his top side , a very nice dog , I love her ,any way come to find out after the purchase they were reg. two different ways , the one I bought was threw the ADBA and George the SDR ,(crap ) so I learnt more and more research , come to find out about the garner controversy that no one would talk about , I was let down and spent a lot of money , I wrote the ADBA and filled out the proper paper work and crossed my fingers that they would accept my dog and reregister him to the ADBA , also it was a natural frisco breeding , a lot to learn in the bulldog world of game bred pits when not many will talk , today I received my papers on him and they accepted him and reregistered him into the ADBA , now I have two dogs in the same registry I can linebreed to get back to George , I'm pumped after being so let down from lack of knowledge , he ha , just thought I might share my journey into the game bred dog world

That's great bob, all that research and digging around paid off for you. I got to see about getting the papers on my Boudreaux / Clemmons pup. The guy that give him to us said it would be no problems but I haven't
followed up on it like I should have.

If you went thru that Frisco story, you did get an education. Theres more crap there I want anything to do with. Good luck with the dogs. Frisco ran around in my yard for a couple weeks when he was about 7 or 8 months old.

My male is what people call a battle type cross , the best of the best I have been told , I was also told it was the  purest of the Hemphill / wilder strain , the top side , garners crocodile , frisco , chinaman  B. M . W.S joe black ect , and the bottom side is woods and wilder dogs.    , the female I bought is frisco , chinaman , meat head ect. My male is my baby , will follow right on the heals of a mule , I can ride threw hundreds of cows no problem , super handle , but will put the hammer on any hog , the destroyer , the best I've seen , so I hope to keep this going and produce the same type of dogs for my boy and his boys and maybe a select  few worthy friends , i spent a chunk to purchase the female and she was the most expensive piece of the puzzle , still looking for one more ADBA female with the same type character of mine preferably a female and different blood for my breeding program , I have high hopes and a long road , and a lot of learning , thanks for the help from the wise bull dog folks from here

Bob I sure hope that Rose turns out and makes a dog for ya. If she don't, we know its not from a lack of effort on your part. You care for your dogs more than any hunter that ive been around. I've said it before that I am not a bulldog fan, but if they all acted like Jorge in the few times ive hunted with him, I'd love to have a yard full of them. Good to hear you got the registration deal worked out and can hopefully keep the line going.
