Monty, gotta be the brindle gyp Mike has? She's a Tweety/Winchester granddaughter.

Mike yur rite. Both dogs have the genetics to produce good dogs. We are hunting some 7 month old pups out of her and they sure get to a bay and run with the old dogs.

They are hell on wheels.  I know from talking to you mike that some of the tweets don't start off very fast so I'm guessing they took after their dad.  Either way they are the best pups I've ever put on the ground

Mike, some do and some don't. The three I raised out of your gyp's litter started early. Baying at 9 weeks old, to finding and baying hogs by themselves at 9 months old.

Mike, they're doing very well. Hardest hunting dogs I've ever owned and they give a new meaning to loooong range.
Dang sure dont wanna walk hunt behind em. Lol
Good nose ,gritty ,but extremely smart. Couldn't get much better. I think Ole Monty is trying to create the next super breed. Lol

That's good to hear. I told Mike and Monty they should make the cross as these dogs seem to cross well no matter what they're bred to.

They produce some sure enough hog dogs thats for sure. I raised three pups out of the two gyps I have and they naturally know how to handle a hog. Them Tater bred dogs are of the same caliber so this cross should produce some outstanding dogs.

Cool cool. I was wondering about that. When I get some time, I'd like to pick your brain about those hood dogs as I have zero experience with em.

Mohogger,

Do you have any pics of Vega and Leddy? I'd sure like to see how they turned out all grown up.
