|
i was wondering if anybody on this board used the old hart stock cur dogs. me and a couple of my hunting partners have had a couple of dogs that go back to the old hart stock and we really like them. i know their are some still down in south east texas but i was wondering if any of yall are using them.

well the old Hart Dogs came from Jude Hart out of Batson Texas that line of dogs are all dead but thier is some of the offspring still around I personally know the Judes sons and know that in the day they was some real good dogs but also know that alot of people claim to have this breed and that and really was sold something else that wasnt what they was told I had a yellow male that came from dewayne hART ( jUDES SON ) BUT he wasnt a hart dog he just came from that area and he was a real hogdog

JLH I am just messing with hoss he is a good friend of mine. We have done are research on are dogs we know what we got and they are sure nuff hog dogs!!

mine is 15months old he has found a couple on his own but he slowed down a little bc he got cut pretty bad a few months ago

jlh i no what your saying. it is almost impossible to prove or disprove were your cur dogs really came from. all we can do is go by what were told. it just get more difficult when the dogs change hand and go back to a line of old dogs as popular as the heart stuff. the guys i got mine from are old cowboys out of south east tx that are not in the dog selling business. but they are conviced these dogs go back to their of springs.
Lazyjhogdogs my little female was a rough litte thing when she was young and so was her brother, but they have learned to back up. my female started hunting and finding hog at a year old but i guess when she was about 18 month i came within a 1\4 inch of getting her killed.

Well I agree with JLH alot of people claim they got them....But I remember the hart dogs and I know one when I see them ....most of the people who had the true hart dogs were cowboy from around hardin and liberty counties...I rode by the hart camp this year and seen alot of there dogs they do not look anything like the old Jude hart dogs....So if the Harts don't have them who does??? The breed is still out there but if it is mostly would have came from cowboys not hog hunters!!! And yes Hart dogs have lots of heart!!!!!

I agree alot of people claim to have certain bloodlines and in fact dont have anything close to what they think,but with all said good dogs with said bloodline(hart) are where you find them.Colmeisneil Tx may be a good start...

Hey beau I don't no the guy personally but he got some of those hart dogs His name is Jason and he is or was a horse shoer tell me if you no him don't no his last name but pretty sure he got some of that hart blood....He is or was from colmeisneil 10 years ago...

i hace 2 litter mates to lazyjhogdogs my cuz has the aunt and uncle asnd calvin bown has another aunt calvin went to south texas and picked them up and had a litter they are 15 months both good dogs best 15 month old dogs i have ever seen both hunt hard both will bay and stick with their own hog do not trash they are the best dogs i have ever owned

Yes there is some hart dogs left not doubtin anybody! Jus know that there are only a few dogs that when I see them have the true jude hart look..His dogs all matched and there is alot of his grandsons and kin folks around batson who have cur dogs but they are not the orginal true jude hart dogs..... But I would love to see pictures of some of yalls dogs!!
