me and mike went out to his ranch for some r&r and catch them toothy hogs. well we had a blast we made 3 runs and caught 1 good trophy hog. the first run we made mike takes us to a protein feeder and the big boar was standing there eating we got 60 yrds from him and he just watch the dogs run by him 20 yrds away from him . so me & my son hallor at the dogs to bring them back by him and still he just stood there. at this time I wanted to shoot every dog I owned. well he just walks off and as he turns I could see his blades sticking out of his mouth. well gritt hit his tracks and cain, tweety pups and my new dog from silverton boar fell in and stopped him 50 yards from the feeder. well I guess nikko couldn't hold him so he broke & went 300 and them pups were working him in a circle. I love that country we were 100 yrds away and could see him spinning . well my new dog got gutted in the all this mess as she was hanging off nutt sack. we ease in to 25 yrds and send the cd to seal the deal and this big boy set down cause all the dogs caught . me and mike tied him up and checked on all the cut dogs and rolled down to the next feeder , there were 7 hogs there and these hogs went to fortworth tx cause we never stopped them. well we worked on the ranch until dark then loaded up to hit more feeders and we bingo again 25 yrds from the feeder cain and tweety pup had these hog bayed solid right as the cd get there this hog broke and left out never stopped him, so we went back to the house caught some sleep to hit it again in the morning. we struck some that morning and watch them give the dogs the slip never got them bayed. it got hot so we loaded up and came home. sure was a fun trip we seen mule deer, whitetail , rattle snakes and lots of quail. I want to thank mike for a fun trip and ill never forget catching that boar .I took some pics

Sounds like a good time Monty, glad you survived that rattlebug!  Nice boar, thats where i go mule deer and whitetail hunting in November every year, between Turkey and Clarendon on the Prairie Dog Fork of the Red River.  Were you wearing that hoodie Wednesday night?  I was outside at the house from 7 PM Weds to 3 AM Thurs drinkin and shooting fireworks and I had to light a damn fire it was so chilly haha.

Thanks for coming along Monty.  It was one of the funner hunts I've had in awhile.  Next time we'll have a little better game plan and smoke a few more.  Hope the catXdogo is doing alright
