There was a tie in the MOST HOGS division of 11 hogs each. The rules state that a tie breaker is based on which team had the HEAVIEST hog in their stringer. In this case it was


In addition to the stated payout, TDHA also entered each and every team that weighed in hogs (regardless of weight or placing) into a drawing for a Tri Tronics TrashBreaker or a Wildlife Materials Tracking Collar

that's some good stuff there....20,000+ lbs to the needy...that is what it is all about..great job and kudos to everyone that entered and helped those who are less fourtunate than we are...

Holy cow, that's a potload of pigs.  I bet you did need some volunteers to help clean those babies!!! 

Congratulations to everybody who did well, and for you guys for putting on a really cool contest.  Wish there was something like that closer to us, even though I don't think we could've come close to the winner's results. 

I think it's really cool that you guys put that much meat on the table of the needy.  That's a whole lotta food for some folks who could use it.

We did have some great volunteers. We had folks who spent hours in the truck (and Lord knows how many gallons of fuel) just to come help clean hogs! There were people who came to watch and observe that saw we needed help and they too rolled up their sleeves. The ETHD members made a tremendous showing in the "help" department. I want to thank everyone who entered, volunteered, donated money or prizes (or helped in the procurement of those). This contest was a GROUP effort, and I am so proud to be a part of it. Most of all, I am proud to have friends I can count on like you! You really mean a lot to me, guys and gals.
