Get the dog started on some antibiotics from vet. Just see if they will sell you some without taking the dog in. Hydro it 2-3 times daily with cold water and squeeze as much of the green mess out as you can. Clean it with peroxide one more time but after that only use surgical scrub or something that isn't as traumatizing to the wounds that are trying to heal.

Do not use peroxide after the initial wound, its not good for dogs....kills both good and bad bacteria supposedly. Buy some vetericyn...its a bit pricey but im telling you it has worked for me and many others on here on cuts big and small. Also, if he will let you....... I suggest Hydrotheraphy (water hose with no nozzle, freely running over the wound for a minimum of 5minutes in order to flush the cuts/bites). Hydrotheraphy twice a day and spray vetericyn afyerwards.....oughta have him good to go. Hope he heals quick.

If no oral antibiotics, Penicillin is cheap....from tractor supply or feed store.
1 1/2 cc into hip muscle (big upper leg muscle), 3-4 days in a row.
Like Justin said, That vetricin (S?) is good stuff as a topical.

Sounds like it as already infected green or yellow mean infection and you got both. Now you have a problem. I only use water for cleaning then seal and heal and antibiodics. You better get on it or you could lose the dog.
To be honest with little stuff like a dog's ear getting a bite or a tear from another dog I just squirt seal and heal on it and have never had a problem.

It sounds to me like a hematoma. I have treated a couple of our dogs. Cut a hole through the first inner layer of skin about a inch long and a half inch wide and squeeze all the crud out of the ear then fold the ear in half from base to tip and wrap it with vet wrap

Had same thing happen to mine few wks back and I just cleaned it with bottled water gave him 2cc of penicillin for 3 days and sprayed blue kote on it everyday and it healed fine. His ear was in bad shape too it was almost completely off. Now he has 2 big slits in it. And just couple wks ago a hog cut his other ear an I repeated it and it healed fine

Correct me if im wrong but pennecilin is only used as soon as something happens to prevent infection? I dont think it would help him now

All ive ever done is drain the puss, and give a cycle of pen sub q. Usually swelling goes down and puss goes away in a few days.
