Wow some of this makes no sense to me, he was a cc holder in a gated community and someone was there that didn't live there and there had already been burglaries in the neighborhood. How many of you do holders that think he should not have defended himself would not have asked what he was doing had he been in your neighborhood doing the same thing. Ultimately that's how it started he asked what he was doing knowing he had no business there and was on the phone with police while doing so. If the TM was so innocent why did he run off and come back around to him why didn't he just leave. He attacked the man in the dark and was unknown this was not a bar fight where you just got into it with another hot head. This was a situation where one individual attacked another unprovoked. He was not a kid he was a 17 yr old that knew right from wrong and chose to attack Z anyway. How many of you fine upstanding individuals who think he should not have defended himself would have just played there if this was your neighborhood or by your home with your kids in it. Some of these comments are plain bus because in the same situation you would not have been Mr nice guy and just to a beating

 they wasnt even going to arrest zimmerman until the naacp went down there running their mouths, he had every right to give him a bullet. now they are sueing him for some civil rights bs, all that boils down to is somebody wanting something for nothing. not much has been said on the news about the thugs beating up people because they are white or because they know zimmerman because its the other way around. its suppose to be alot of protest and stuff this weekend at like 100 and something cities all over maybe someone will do something and start the next civil war

Or if it would of been a black guy who shot Martin, there wouldn't have been a story. It's just something to get everyone all riled up about, and give the media something to talk about.

Somebody needs to explain this to me where it makes sense. One black man gets killed by a white man in self defence and you would think the world is coming to an end.

the reason the naacp and Al sharptn or jesse jackson are like they are is because they got alot of people standing behind them no matter if they are right which they are not or wrong. it dont matter whats happening the colored people always have each others back. the white people could have a al sharp or jesse jackson or martin luther or whomever but the white people will not stand behind each other when it gets down to business, usually the whites will end up mad at each other or back down and let whatever go. every bit of this mess is the white peoples fault for letting it go on and its to late now. im just telling the truth like it is. and im white as a white crayon but i know not to look behind me as i would be the only one there just like everyone of you know the same thing. hope this makes sense its hard to type on a public forum without stepping on any toes if yall know what i mean

 u r very right bo pough, but I don't think ALL the blame can fall onto whitey. it was the spaiards and portugues who strated the slave trade, and it was the tribes in Africa who sold their own people into bondage.
