Ben came down and stayed the weekend with me to get our dogs branded and get a few hunts in. We had plans to get the dogs branded early sat. morning so I found a place to hunt close to home fri. night. I figured it'd be a quick run because my buddy knew where the hogs were coming from and he also thought he knew where they were bedded. I was a quick hunt dogs were caught on a crippled/club footed boar hog, less than 20 mins after turning loose but we had to stay at the vet all night.

We got the dogs branded and them headed to my lease where bens puppy (Cobb) staggered up on this boar hog that was squatted in a bad a$$ thicket.

I appreciate the hunt Casey, enjoyed it like always.  We don't ever seem to get much sleep, but the dogs see alot of country.  Glad we got Layla taken care of, it was touch and go for a bit.

It was good meeting you Erik, Tony, and Marshall and appreciate y'all swinging by and giving us a hand on the dogs.
