I am in need of a training partner. I just figured that this might be a good place to ask. My wife decided after I got hurt last week that it would be a good idea for me to have someone else with me to train my dogs. I live between College Station and Huntsville in Iola, Texas. I have a great training facility for hog dogs. Bay pens wood pens and lots of open country to run the dogs.  I can not afford to pay anyone but I will allow your dogs to train with mine in return for a little help. My number is 936-394-2931 ask for Joe. I train in the mornings and weekends that I am not guiding.

Hey Joe, I met you at the baying last weekend. I need some help with my dog and I don't mind one bit putting in some labor to help you out. Mind if I come up some weekend when we are both free? I'll give you a holler after work.

bump for my boy joe....will call you tomorrow, what the heck did you get yourself into?

if there are any people just getting started and their dogs need some experience joe has a great set up and furthermore is a great guy. you can reall check to see where your dogs are hunting with joe's. he has some jam up dogs and if you have some pups you can check your pups progress with his. he is an honest guy that will shoot you straight..example...last i hunted with him i wasn't real pleased with my bmc gyp's progress. he liked what he saw and said to just give her time and if she were his he would keep her and just work her some more. about two weeks after that i hunted her a different way and WOW he impressed me. he will help you all he can, if lived closer i would be out with him all the time.

Big nasty got under my gate and the rest is history. The gate hurt me more than he did but he knocked the hell out of my hip. I got real lucky and leia doesnt want me to be hog dinner so she helps as much as she can but with 3 kids she doesnt have alot of time. So I figured that maybe someone locally might see this or anyone that wants to make a day of it come on we can go hunting afterwards.

duece24 This is my slow time until September so I am out there everyday working these 9 pups. I want them ready for this coming up winter.

i'm sure you will get them where they need to be. i got this place by the house now so i can take kopa and sunny out once a week to keep them exposed to hogs. they just might be some good dogs. i might give you a call next weekend to try to get together. i start back to work mon so my time will be gone..lol.

glad to hear that your okay, had me worried.
