Got a long time 30 + year buddy that has been after a big ole hog now for the last two months are so and it has become personal to him now .  He called me for help this coming Sat Morning asking me to bring my dogs.  This hog has done killed two dogs and has wrecked a couple more and also gutted his best dog of many years . Not to mention he is human aggressive and has come at my buddy running him to his four wheeler just missing him and also came at another man that was packing a 40 cal that hit the hog in the shield and he has never slowed down has not even acted like he has been shot since it has happened. The boar hog is said to be in the 400 lb club packin 3 inches on both sides and I really really hope he is.   I have only caught one 400 lb hog in my hog dog life and he was 419 lbs that was back in the early 90's biggest since is 351 is the biggest we have got and can count on one hand the other 300 pounders. So the test is gonna be on Sat morning.  Cant wait !

Thanks ... I been waiting on him to ask me he has hinted around but never asked out right but it happened he asked LOL said he cant take it no more, I told him he was just a dammed ole Glory Hog is what he is and wanted to catch him by his self, told him he didn't need to be so damn greedy and share the Thunder baby LOL  LOL I just hope the Lighting don't strike know what I mean,  the corn will be outta there in the next week and a half , when that happens so will the big boar time is running short .  The last few boar hogs we have gotton have been way up there in weight and ivory close to but not over 300, so man I cant even imagine 400 are + lbs.

Well we hunted our asses off he was no were to be found this morning but my gosh what roots and tracks dang it boy .  He had been there sometime last nite but they just could not line him out this morning.  I guess we will go back in a couple days and try again I sure want to get a holt of him.  We use ruff dogs , we had six three real shut down dogs three medium ruff dogs that will pile in and two bulldogs that will get down and dirity .  We spilt it even even he took his three and bulldog went one way around the corn and I took my three and bulldog and went the oppsite way and we met in the middle .  Roots every were that you could dang near put your four wheeler in all along the side of the corn but no hog .  Then we hit the timber and the creek no were to be found .  I came on back home only to find three missed calls from people screaming come get these damn hogs and my buddy left and went to the river with his and he is still down there chasing dogs .  I left because I know what that Brazos river is and I was a pretty good ways from home it would have been a all day and half the nite ordeal .  I got home and went and checked out one of the calls on the corn but no hogs in the patch but lots of damage gonna hit it at day light in the morning .

Its been a hell of a day already !

Shame y'all didn't get on ole' biggun,......but maybe next time. He should be back around you would think. I trust that you're carrying something to give him a dose of lead if need be. I think you're smart enough to know that though. Good luck.
