I was always told that you should have a pin for each dog and never ever pin a pit bull up with my bay dogs. They said better to be safe than sorry... Well, i just dont have enough kennel space for that... Well i figured out that my bulldog is actually one of the least dog aggressive dogs in my kennell! One of my bmc's is pretty moody but other than that it has worked out really well.

Yep better watch the bulldog if the cur gets ticked. If the bulldog whips him advertise the cur as a registered catahoula. Lol

Based on experience, I wouldn't do it. I'd separate them.

Stepheng, you can do whatever you want with your dogs but I have seen too many times when something outside your pen and outside your control happens and bulldogs that have got along for years get into it. I'm not tellin you that you can't do it but I personally would never leave them like that if I wasn't there.

x 2 Always a roulette with that type of situation. But to each their own.

As others have said, you can do it but in more cases than not, it becomes a question of when and not if you're going to come home to a problem.
Just remember that nearly everyone who ever came home to a dead or severely damaged dog, just 1 day prior were in the camp who'd say, "i have no problem keeping my bulldog locked up with my cur/plott/boxer/lab/poodle etc.
It only takes that one time and then next time one of these threads pops up, you're the guy warning someone against the practice you now find yourself taking part in. A chain spot or adding a kennel is cheaper than replacing a good dog or two.
Hope like heck it works out for you and you never have a problem. Certainly there have been bulldogs to live out their life right along side other dogs and never have a problem. Unfortunately, those are the exceptions to the rule rather than being any sort of norm you should expect.
Best of luck.

Bulldog may not start the fight, but they sure will end it. Keep all my dogs in separate pens.

that's not all true, i have male pits in the same pen and females the same and since all my dogs know that i'm the alpa male. i am real serious no problems with mine. i have a real mean rhodi and pit cross that has his own pen, but what's funny is our momma cat had kittens in his dog box and now protects her and her kittens -- funny
