How big diameter is the tree? Dependin on size of tree, the hog could be laying against it, pushing it over n rubbing their bellies.

biggest I have seen was 42'' high and the hog that made it was a monster that use to make a circuit behind and around the farm . he was a monster that I only saw twice and he looked to have gone the 500lb range . he looked like a rhino going through the trees  lol .  I would all ways check for his fresh sign before I turned out , I didn't want to mess with him by myself  . and these were rubs on the telephone poles I don't think he bent them over   lol .

im sure that a hog of any good size 150#+ would have no issue laying them little trees over to reach them hard to reach areas. as far as the power poles, the hog/s may be standing on their hind legs to get them hard to reach spots. a 42" tall wild hog is more like of a freak of nature than a common sight. a 150# hog can lay a 2-3" sapling over with minimal trouble, iv seen on my game cam numerous times. are there cut marks in any of the near by bigger trees?

Thanks that gives a better idea of the hogs we may be dealing with .. the hog we catch this weekend was 264lb at about 32'' at the shoulders...  I may need to bring at less 1 more catch dog!
