Don't kill myself unless we are on the WMA were we have to kill them. I have a 15" knife from Smokey Mountain Knife Works for $14.95 it gets the job done for me.

I don't know... the aussies seem to like the Muelas and the F. Dick knives.

Personally I like the OSS.

But I have to admit, that $15 Smokey Mountain is sounding pretty good. I found their site, but they have a lot of knives. Which model are you talking about?

I think a lot of East Texas folks that only tie don't realize that most places outside side of here, mainly farm and ranch land, the landowners want the hogs dead... period.

You get caught with a live hog and you don't come back.

We tie most of our hogs also, but we also hunt places where it's stick and move on.

Yep, back in Shelby and San Augustine County, we always tied and released (after cutting the boars).  No one ever thought about sticking one.
