I got a year and a half old mountain cur plott cross that isn't rough without a vest but will get rough as all get out with one. How common is this and is there anyway you can teach a dog to be rough with a vest and loose without a vest

Man...not sure about the "teaching". Not positive about the outcome. Vested dogs seem to stay rough in my opinion. If they've been cut without one and have backed up....but then get rough again when you put one back on...hmmm....they may be able to associate the difference. Time would tell, lol.

My dogs are rough with or with out vest got a dog been cut up and chewed on still won't back up best keep em vested or be ready to get more dogs
