This can get touchy cuz every one has there fav that is why I keep an open mind on what I hear and trust what I see and know. Little story my buddy had a well bred dog wasn't finished when he got him. Every time we went out this dog would just stand there and look at us we would bay up and in no hurry what so ever he would go to the bay and bark very modist. So my buddy taking a Loss gave him to another friend bout month or so later that guy invited me on a hunt cuts that same dog out and he was a mad dog gone like that little bit later bayed up and pig down. He looked at me and said go figure I said well there you Tim shehand

Exactly like i said earlier papers dont make a dog! The hunt, bottom can easily make a dog more than papers can! |

Floridacur you made a statement that Ben dogs are junk and that he was a cull. You haven't done your homework buddy. I doubt you have ever hunted with a real Ben dog. Ben dogs are about all that are used around here because nothing else works as well. Ben was no cull although he had the reputation of being a little rough with cattle. Spend some time learning something before you slam other people's dogs, it makes one question whether you know anything at all. I'm not going to slam your dogs whether they have any hunt in them at all, your the one that feeds them.
i didnt personally say your dogs are good nor bad and honestly dont care ive done research and ive been around 50 plus years hunting experenced guys for quit awhile if you like them good for you i dont feed them so i do not care if there was a good one someone was to give/ sell for cheap would i take it yes but would i buy pups solely off that line just because they were from the famous weatherfords ben nope.. even if he was as good as he is talked about would i want the pups no becouse look up pups of that line online there are tons are you telling me every single one is a good dog i would be willing to bet not. i will stick to dogs that i know what and who they have come from. this is all MY opinion what it means to me is not the same to you i do not bash ppls dogs because i do not feed them if i made you made that was not my intentions but i will say what i think. If your buying registered dogs cause they sale for more then obviously your not into hunting and your more into makin money so it really doesnt matter wat line you get mightest well go for the one you can get the most for

The only thing paper is good for is wiping ass ! It has ruined many a great bloodlines of dogs $$$$$$$$.
I can tell ya this much.
You can taste the soup but they aint gonna give you the recipe !
So most of what you are looking at on those butt wipe papers are lies !

I got a dog I'm hunting for a buddy of mine now I've had him all summer he's suppose to be I think 42% weatherford Ben I don know how they come up with that number and as far as I know this is the first one I ever laid eyes on but I know anybody that likes to hog hunt would like to own this dog and I was thinking about looking for another like him if I can find out where he came from but I wouldn't say they are all junk I'm sure alot of them are but this one will put you in the hogs

Its just like any other bloodline of dogs . There is the good ones and there is the bad ones. Then there are the good honest breeders and then there are the breeders that are in it for the money and don't give a chit. There is people that breed them strickly on paper and then there are people who breed just the good dogs and let the papers tell them how they are bred after the breeding is made .
If you like this line of dogs its just like any other one , find the people that are working the dogs leave the rest alone and you are way ahead of the game if you are in it for the working dogs . If you are not in it for the working dogs then just find the best set of doctored up papers you can go with and put the price on em !
Its just me I hate reg pape. I don't like registerys to me its just a big blob of BS and another way to make big money ! You would understand if you have seen some of the BS I have seen when it comes to papered dogs, Doctoring pedigress and the breeders that breed them !
