Any of yall have or have had a pair of dogs that were “friends”?

We have two dogs Blitz, he’s a 1 yr old Dogo and Daisy, she’s is a 6 yr old Collie/Lab mix that are always together.  They will run hard and wrestle hard for hours then lay together and chill out every single day, all day long.  Neither has hurt the other, and they’re okay with others dogs but always do better with each other.  It’s funny to see because of their age and complete breed difference but was curious to know if any of yall have had dogs that ended up being a pair, like friends?

I have a three year old male pit & a 12yr old female dogo/ridgeback mix that cannot be apart. They will cry if you separate them. He's real gentle with her. & he's not a gentle dog to begin with.

All my dogs are tied out close enough they can play but not get tangled. They play with each other all the time and will lay as close as they can to each other. I think this builds a tighter bond within the pack as a whole. When the crap hits the fan they work together very well. They do tend to be more buddy like with the dogs they can reach than the ones they can't to me.

I've heard of dogs doing that, still kind of cool. That's like some red fern grows kind of stuff.

I use to have a pair of dogs when I first started hunting one was a good dog the other didn't do nothing but moral support. The male would hunt trail and bay as good as any as long as the female was tagging along and she would stay step for step with him and wouldn't do nothing. But if her pass were sore or for some reason she couldn't go it wasn't no need in taking him either he would just look up at you and not do anything it was kind of cool having two dogs that was such good buddy's as they were but at times it was real aggravating
