ok so i ve had 2 puppys die with in the last two nights. there were no symptoms at all they were playn eating and drinking fine. they were them selfs. there was three puppys total in there now one left. ive delt with parvo before but not at this house. there didnt seem to be any symptoms of parvo. so we have put that one pup thats left in a create. the pups were around 5months. Any ideas what might be the problem??? thanks

If you want that last one to make it i'd take a fecal sample into your vet ASAP to rule out parvo or intestinal parasites so you can get to the bottom of fixing the problem....

Pups eat all kinds of stuff. Look for anything they should not eat. They might have been poisoned or eaten wire or something crazy.

If u have chickens check for coccidiosis I had the same thing three pups an only saved one

Any disease and you will see them decline over a few days. Even a blockage...(eating something)...same thing, they'll go off their feed and decline.

If they were eating and drinking then it sounds like a poison/snake bite.

Sometimes hookworms will kill a pup under six months very quickly. However, I agree with those that suggest looking for poison or a snake.

Thanks for all the replys and input. the only pup left is doing great got him in a dog create keeping close eye on him for a week or so . just hard for me cjause work out of town and wont be home for another 2 weeks . but thank all of yall.

Go to the vet and get some panacure.  Give him two cc's for three days straight, skip two weeks and repeat.  I lost two just like you did, put the other five on panacur and now they are doing great.  I bet you have a parasite or coccidia infestation in your pups.  Panacure will take care of either one.  It's fairly inexpensive.

It's a horse wormer, but it also suppresses coccidia spores.
