I buy Sportsmix 24/20, it is not the cheapest feed out there but my dogs perform FAR better on it than they did on diamond or victor or any other feed for that matter, they look great and their chit aint nasty (if its possible for chit not to be nasty lol).

I think I started a thread about it quite a while back, anyway I have an old dog that still hunts and gets it done but he was struggling late into a hunt, I didn't think anything of it other than he was old and that's all there was to it.........when I switched his feed I couldn't believe the difference, it was like he hit a whole nother gear in the woods. In my opinion it is the best feed out right now, at least that I have found.

To me it's always been pretty simple...feed what your dogs do well on.  Doesn't matter if it's "high quality, premium" feed or "grocery store" brand...your dogs will tell you what is the best feed for them.

Dayum...that seems expensive.  I don't feed it, but I think its around 26-28 where I'm at.

I switched to River Run High energy when diamond hit 29, but now its up 26.  I like it, seems to be close to the same energy on same amount as diamond with a little tighter stool

I keep hoping dog food will go down with the price of corn.
Valu pak 24/20 for me also.
As long as corn is not the first ingredient on the bag you will be ok.

I was feeding sportmix before the prce went up and the amount went down then i switched to retriever blue bag from TSC.  ONly problem with both was i had to feed the heck outta my mutts to keep weight on them.  Switched to red bag ol roy for my inside dogs and the did so well that now all the dogs get it.  20 bucks for a 50lbs sack and i dont have to feed as much of it.
