We have been struggling for three weeks at our places last night we finally got a good boar and a decent sow. Dropped the dogs at ten started walking around the outside of about 500 acres got half way around and close to the highway. My dog took off bayed across the highway luckily we had permission it was my friends uncles place. Cut the cds loose herd alot of grunting my red pit had a 150 pound sow caught and one of my pups was there baying and caught when we ran in there killed that one. And still herd my strike dog baying and my other cd was there caught sent my other pit there they were about 150 yards away in a tank. Ran in there and it was throwing all the dogs. We finally got it killed he only had inch teeth. Cut my black pit pretty good on the leg. i guessed him 250 plus he was really tall no actions pics tonight only one buddy came along. This was the biggest boar i have killed with my dogs and no ones else to help. This is the big boar The sow

I can't believe I'm saying this... but... I'd rather catch 20 hogs under a hundred pounds than one bad boar that wrecks my dogs...
Better training for the dogs, more action, less vet bills... nothing wrong with a hundred pounder, I still like hearing the story!

Nice boar hog....its been my experience that hogs with teeth just like that end up doing a lot of damage.
